PARENTING "THEN AND NOW"
As you may know we provide parent workshops for parents who are mandated by Administration for Children Services(ACS) to take parenting classes due to abuse, neglect, and custody battles.
Most of the parents we see are hardworking middle class parents who are battling adolescents. Some parents battle addiction and some have cases with ACS because of domestic abuse.
Long gone are the days when a parent could hit, say or do anything they want to their children. As a result many parents we deal with say they feel powerless while their children have all the rights and power. That's why I created this organization. There is no such thing as a "bad parent", just a parent who doesn't know what to do and needs help.
My question to you is, what do you think about parenting "Then and Now" and the ways in which it has changed? What about today's level of effectiveness?
