About Us
At Parenting Training Network, we believe strong families build strong communities. Founded in 2008, PTN was created to support parents going through challenging transitions — from court involvement to behavioral concerns and everything in between.
Led by Ms. Cynthia Shields, a dedicated parenting educator and advocate, PTN brings a trauma-informed, culturally sensitive approach to every session. Our team is passionate about creating a judgment-free space where parents feel seen, supported, and equipped with tools that lead to real-life transformation.
We work closely with family courts, child services agencies (ACS), schools, and community partners to ensure our programs meet legal requirements and reflect the real needs of today’s families.
